Jabari A. Jackson joined O’Keefe Lyons & Hynes in 2020 as an attorney focusing on commercial real estate taxes and tax appeals. He has more than 20 years of experience analyzing property tax appeals, resolving issues regarding property tax incentives and exemptions, completing commercial and residential real estate closings, and working as a counsel to local government bodies regarding commercial property taxation.
Jabari worked as an analyst at the Cook County Board of Review from 2011 to 2020. He also served as legal counsel at the Cook County Assessor’s Office from 2008 to 2010. Prior to working for Cook County, Jabari was one of four attorneys at Tiller, Jackson & Associates, where he specialized in commercial and residential real estate closings.
