Kevin B. Hynes is an equity member of O’Keefe, Lyons & Hynes and focuses on property taxation, litigation, government relations, and environmental law. Kevin represents a variety of clients at all levels of the property tax appeal process throughout Illinois and other jurisdictions.
Before joining the firm in 2003, Kevin was Assistant Counsel to the Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives. He has served in the U.S. Department of Justice as an Assistant Associate Attorney General and a Special Assistant to the Assistant Attorney General.
Kevin was an Assistant Attorney General in the Illinois Attorney General's Office, as well as an attorney in Schiff Hardin LLP's National Environmental Practice Group.
