Kevin B. Hynes is an equity member of O’Keefe, Lyons & Hynes. His areas of concentration: property taxation, litigation, environmental law, and government relations. Kevin represents a variety of clients at all levels of the property tax appeal process in Cook County and throughout Illinois, including the Illinois Circuit Courts and the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board.

Before joining the firm in 2003, Kevin was Assistant Counsel to the Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives. He has served in the U.S. Department of Justice as an Assistant Associate Attorney General and a Special Assistant to the Assistant Attorney General. Kevin was an Assistant Attorney General in the Illinois Attorney General's Office, as well as an attorney in Schiff Hardin LLP's National Environmental Practice Group.
